SEPHORA Collection Bright Set Pressed Finishing Powder is an illuminating, shine-reducing pressed powder that can brighten the face and set makeup. The powder works great to brighten the face or set makeup. It can also be used to brighten targeted areas. This universally flattering shade works for most skin tones. This powder can be used with a sponge or a fluffy brush to achieve the desired brightening effect or to set makeup. Traditionally known as “banana powder”, this formula works on most complexion tones without looking either shimmery or ashy.
To use: sweep a brush or sponge across the pan in circular motions to pick up the product. Lightly tap off excess before applying to face. Sweep all over face to set makeup or pat onto targeted areas to brighten. For best results, make sure skin is well moisturized before applying.
This powder is very nice for making skin look brighter, more even toned. I could see it working for just about anyone. Even darker complexions could use this, maybe not the darkest though, as it would make skin look a little too yellow. It does not have any shimmer to it, which is nice and it also mattifies skin somewhat. I would use it with a very fluffy brush and apply all over the face right after foundation, in lieu of any other face powder so that it sets foundation.
