This Autumn SEPHORA introduces two Colorful Eye Shadow Photo Filter Palettes in shades are reminiscent of photo editing software. Photo editing software is a huge trend in social media right now to get the picture-perfect, professionally lit look. These palettes were inspired by popular filters. The Sunbleached palette includes soft, light filled shades. The Overcast palette includes cool, breezy shades for a more smoky look. Each palette features brand 10 wearable shades: some new hues as well as bestselling colorful shades. The packaging showcases gorgeous artwork and also includes a large mirror inside.

The Sunbleached Palette contains the following shades: Walking in the Sand, Selfie, #tbt, Swell, Latergram, Whitewashed, Sandy Toes, Desert Rose, Swan Song and Secret Boudoir. Secret Boudoir and Swan Song are larger Shades.

The Overcast Palette contains the following shades: Sandcastle, Flagstone, June Gloom, Getaway, Berlin Underground, Rocky, Black Lace, Cozy Sweater, #happydays and Smoke Signals. #happydays and Smoke Signals are larger shades.

The shades are pigmented, long-wearing and have little to no fallout, which is exactly what you are looking for in eye shadows. I am very happy with these eye shadows. I love the Sunbleached palette. It is soft, pretty and gives the illusion of softness to the eyes yet has some shades that are still dark enough for some smokiness. The Overcast palette is great for providing a soft, smoky look to the eyes. Each palette provides a good number of matte and shimmer shades so that they can be blended and give depth to the eyes. I did notice that the mattes were a little bit harder to blend out though. Just a little bit, not too much. They were not chalky, just harder to give a softer look with. Even with the smoky eye look I wanted them to blend out a little bit more. Both palettes are very nice though and definitely fun for the fall season. Below you can see a look I accomplished with each palette. I did a very soft look with the Sunbleached palette and a soft smoky look with the Overcast palette.

SUNBLEACHED LOOK:

Here I am wearing Swell in the crease, then I took #tbt and used it to deepen the crease and then used it in the outer 1/3 of the upper lid and lined the lower lid with it. I took Latergram and used it on the lid and then used Swan Song under the brow. I am wearing SEPHORA Colorful Cheek Ink Gel in Water Lily on my cheeks and SEPHORA Contour Matte Gel Gel Eyeliner in Black on my lining my upper and lower lids. On my lashes I am using SEPHORA’s The Mascara. On my lips I am wearing LORAC Matte Lip Color in Nude.

OVERCAST LOOK:

For my Overcast Look I am wearing June gloom in the crease with Black Lace underneath to deepen it then Black Lace on the outer 1/3 of the upper lid and lining the lower lid. I then used #happydays on the upper lid and Flagstone and  Sandcastle under the brow. To line I used SEPHORA Contour Matte Gel Gel Eyeliner in Black on the upper and lower lid. On my lashes I used SEPHORA’s The Mascara. My cheeks is SEPHORA Collection Blush in So Shy. On my lips I am wearing SEPHORA Collection Oil Infusion Color & Care in Iced Coffee

Overall I am very happy with the two palettes and am recommending them for purchase. These eye shadows are pigmented, have little to no fallout, blend well enough and are fairly creamy. Each palette provides matte and shimmer shades. What more can you ask for in an eye shadow? I think you will enjoy these palettes very much.

Each Colorful Eye Shadow Photo Filter Palette is $32.00 and can be purchased online at www.sephora,com or in SEPHORA stores.
