To set this formula apart from our original 24/7 Eye Pencil, they gave it a shade-matched ombré gradient that fades
to black, with a matte black cap and end. The creamy 24/7 formula doesn’t contain any mineral oil, paraffin or preservatives.
Not quite sure what your waterline is, let alone where to find it? It’s that little bit of pink skin between your lashes
and your eye. You’ve probably lined your lower waterline before (maybe without even realizing it), but you might
be surprised to know you have an upper waterline. That’s the real hidden treasure! Lining this area makes the eye
pop without making the overall look too dark. Wende does this even when she’s going for a more natural look,
because you can see it, but you can’t SEE it.
First, sharpen your pencil to a rounded point. For the lower waterline, press the pencil gently against the lower
lashes, working across with short, gentle strokes until you get the intensity you want. The upper waterline is a little
trickier, but still easy. Look straight ahead and put the soft point of the pencil at the outer corner of your eye. With
pressure toward the lashes, push your eyelid up slightly as you work your way across with slightly longer, gentle
strokes. Don’t look at the pencil! After a bit of practice, you’ll be able to do this without a mirror; the key is to let
go and just feel your way across. Stop about three-quarters of the way between the outer and inner corner. Then
start over at the inner corner, using the same technique until the two lines meet.
