L'Oréal Paris Superstar Voluminous Liner is a stroke of genius. This is the best felt tip liquid liner I have ever used. Bar none. I have always had trouble with liquid liner and its ability to have a nice smooth stroke along my lash line, its ability to to have smooth ink without any dragging and the liner’s ability to make a nice cat eye with my droopy bedroom eyes. Well this liner has changed all of that.
One thing that I really love about this liner is that it has ink that does not skip. The ink stays with you as you line your lid all the way to the end. Never have I encountered that before in the 50 or so felt tip liquid liners I have tried before. Also, the stroke is so smooth. It does not drag or skip as you line the upper lid. This liner goes from thin to thick in one step. It goes straight all the way through the stroke to the end, creating a gorgeous cat eye. I have trouble getting a nice cat eye because I have drooping lids, often called “bedroom eyes”. But this liner creates a nice cat eye that looks great and is easy to do even with my horrible lids. L'Oréal Paris Superstar Voluminous Liner liner goes on easily, and it stays on. It is not waterproof but it is smudge proof. I am so in love with this liner. I have literally tried at least one hundred liquid liners and have never found one that is as nice as this one is. It really is that good. I do think I have found my Holy Grail liquid liner. I will still use other liquid liners, but as for any felt tip ones, this is the best one I have ever used and I don’t need to look any further for another one.
To use, start by applying to a clean lid. Hold marker horizontally to use the side of the tip. Apply along the lash line beginning in the inner corner of the eye working outward. At the end of the upper lash line, draw a thin line extending towards the end of the eyebrow. For a more dramatic winged look, draw from inner corner of eyelid to meet the tip of the line just drawn. Fill in the triangle. For best results store the product horizontally.
