Recently I reviewed Henna Hair Color Cream from Surya Brasil (http://bit.ly/1ZYIbCP). This company makes various other products, one of which is a wicked Vegan Lip Balm. This company, based in Brazil, makes 100% natural, moisturizing, vegan lip balms that come in 5 delicious flavors inspired by Surya’s commitment to organic ingredients and sustainably harvested botanicals. The lip balms are also Kosher. The nutrient rich, vegan (which means no beeswax is included in the ingredient list) lip treatments keeps lips soft, smooth and completely hydrated. Handcrafted with superior rainforest emollients, Surya Brasil Vegan Lip Balms help to nourish dry, chapped lips, replenish moisture in the lips and restore elasticity to the skin of the lips. The available flavors are Acai Berry, Cinnamon Cupuacu, Strawberry Buriti, Chocolate Mint and Chocolate. The lip balms are certified vegan, there are no animal ingredients and definitely no animal testing done on the ingredients or the final product. I tried two flavors: Strawberry & Buriti and Chocolate & Mint. Both are very nice but I am partial to the Chocolate & Mint flavor. Probably because I like Chocolate and I like Mint. It reminds me of those Andes candies that you get at restaurants, if you know the ones I mean. The strawberry one is very nice too. I think it is more of spring and summer flavor while the Chocolate & Mint flavor is a great winter flavor. Since it is winter right now while I am writing this, I think that is why I am partial to this flavor. The lip balm is excellent. It glides on easily while not being to slippery. It gives just enough coverage and lasts a long time. My lips feel soft, smooth and well hydrated. I definitely like how it makes my lips feel. These lip balms are great. They are emollient and keep lips from getting chapped and treat chapped lips too.
