This 2 in 1 product is a shampoo and conditioner in 1. It is for normal to slightly dry hair that does not need a deep conditioning treatment. For me, I usually prefer a shampoo and conditioner separate. However, from time to time this kind of product is quite useful. I would use this for traveling, so I would only need to pack one product. Or when my hair is not so dry, during the summer months. My husband likes this more than I do. He loves having a shampoo an conditioner in one. And my daughter too. It just depends on if you need a really good conditioner or not. My hair is color treated and needs a really heavy conditioner.
