Review: Columbia Probiotic Skincare Complex #Columbia #ProbioticSkincareComplex #probiotics

Columbia Skincare Probiotic Complex $175

Columbia Skincare Probiotic Concentrate  $190

I was given this Probiotic cream and the Probiotic Concentrate from the The F.C. Sturtevant Company which is introducing the Columbia Skincare Probiotic Complex to try out. They are responsible for Columbia Skincare 1871 Healing Cream that is used for diaper rash. The company is taking their skincare in a whole new direction. They are using probiotics for the face. When you normally think probiotics, you think yogurt. And the bacteria in yogurt. But it can be used for so much more.

They have two new products coming out: Columbia® Probiotic Complex and Columbia® Probiotic Concentrate. According to Steven Rosenfeld, a company spokesperson, these topical probiotic formulations effectively act on the most important biological feature in aging skin...its ability to renew itself, which disappears as we age. By utilizing healthy bacteria, plant stem cells and amino acids, Columbia Skincare products provide bacterial interference, and protect the skin from bad bacteria and parasites that provoke the immune system, causing such conditions as acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.

In addition to helping control these serious and sometimes painful skin conditions, Columbia Skincare probiotic products could change the paradigm on anti-aging treatments. With regular use of these products, results will be the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, while improving skin luminosity and elasticity. Columbia has applied and been granted a provisional patent on the technology behind these products. The American Academy of Dermatology has called probiotics one of the new beauty breakthroughs which can help promote clearer skin, decrease skin sensitivity, redness and inflammation.

I used the cream for a month. What I did notice is that I did not break out as much as I had normally been breaking out. I was hoping that was due to the probiotics. When I stopped using it my skin started to break out a lot, but that could be due to the change in seasons. It's hard to tell. This cream should be good for those who suffer from acne, eczema, rosacea and psoriasis. The bacteria in it should help prevent those conditions from occurring. Try it out for a month and see if it makes a difference in your skin. You never know. You may find this is the best cream you ever had. It should be available soon through www.columbiaskincares.com.

Until Next Time~
