Review: SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off #SKINFOOD #BlackSugarMaskWashOff #Mask

(product photo courtesy of www.ulta.com)

3.5 oz./100g $10.00
I found this mask a few months ago on Pinterest and immediately had to have it. It is from Korea initially but is making its way to the US. SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is available many places too. I'll tell you those later. This maks is AMAZING. Utterly AMAZING. It was not provided to me so this review it all on my own.

What is nice is that the black sugar sourced by SKINFOOD comes from one of Brazil's leading producers. It's rich brown color derives from the amount of molasses, the syrup separated out from sugar after the refining process. While most commercial brown sugar is simply refined white sugar coated with molasses, black sugar is unrefined, leaving behind more of the natural benefits. Enriched with vitamins and minerals organically farmed without pesticides, it's sweet to the taste and to the touch! Sugar is a natural exfoliant. With its grainy texture, it's the perfect ingredient to heighten the scrubbing action that removes dead skin cells, which can clog pores and make your complexion look dull. Sugar is also a natural humectant, which means that it draws moisture from the environment into the skin. So when you use the Black Sugar product line, you're hydrating your skin and helping it to retain moisture, two effective ways to treat signs of aging. SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is an exfoliating and hydrating mask wash off with black sugar granules. The mask leaves skin moisturized, soft, and free of dead skin cells.

I ADORE this mask. It is essentially made of sugar, glycerin, macadamia oil, lanolin, triglycerides, shea butter, caramel, fragrance and meadowfoam seed oil. It has some other ingredients in it but those are mostly chemicals or botanicals that have chemical names. So this mask is basically sugar and a bunch of oils in it that stay on the skin after the sugar is rinsed off. It is wonderful. You apply it to damp skin, massage for a few minutes, then let it stay on for 10-15 minutes, massage again for a minute or two, then rinse off with lukewarm water. The sugar liquefies so it is easily dispensed with down the drain. What is left is the softest skin ever. Did I mention that your skin will be extra soft?

SKINFOOD Black Sugar Mask Wash Off is $10.00 at www.ulta.com, it is also available through www.amazon.com, www.birchbox.com, www.masksheets.com, www.walmart.com, www.koreanmall.com, www.sokoglam.com and www.yesstyle.com. As I mentioned above, it is available at many different places. It is a very popular mask. I purchased mine through Amazon but it took a few weeks to get it and it was cheaper than Ulta by about $4. I do really think you will like this mask though. I highly recommend it for those with combination, normal and dry skins. Not oily or acneic skins.

Until Next Time/Happy New Year!
