Hello! I am back. So happy to be back after moving. This is my first review in a couple of weeks and I think you are going to like this one. I have so many product reviews coming up that I know you are going to love! Today's is perfect for those of us who suffer from the bane of dry skin...

Do you suffer from extremely dry, itchy skin (especially in the winter)? I do. This winter has been worse than ever with the extreme cold and wind too. Not to mention the forced air heating that doesn't have any humidity in it. Luckily I have found La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+. La Roche-Posay is the #1 brand in European Pharmacies. This body cream has been made for skin that is just like mine and yours. When I scratch my skin at times I could literally see the dead skin coming off, that is how bad it was. Then I used this and after showering and my skin was calm and soothed. It was like a miracle. If you have skin like mine then you need to try this.

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ has been formulated with Prebiotic Thermal Water, Shea Butter, Glycerin and Niacinamide (Vitamin B3). These ingredients have been shown clinically shown to reduce dry, rough skin, replenish skin's essential lipids and to provide long-lasting 48 hour hydration. Shea Butter and Glycerin are humectants that naturally attract water to the skin while Niacinamide is a naturally soothing ingredient. The cream has a non-sticky finish and is suitable for babies two weeks and up. It is non-comedogenic and has been allergy-tested. It is fragrance-free and paraben-free too. This product has been accepted by the National Eczema Association. It has been tested by Dermatologists and Pediatricians. This product is recommended for extra dry rough skin, extremely dry skin conditions or even sensitive skins.

Prebiotics are a little different than probiotics. Prebiotics are plant fibers specialized plant fibers that beneficially nourish the good bacteria already on the skin or in the body and they act as as fertilizer for what the good bacteria already there. Probiotics introduce good bacteria into the skin or body. Dermatological research in skin health has demonstrated the importance of a healthy microbiome, the population of microorganisms found at the skin surface. It has been discovered that in extremely dry skin conditions the skin microbiome can become unbalanced, and prebiotics can have a rebalancing effect. Formulated with a high concentration of La Roche-Posay Prebiotic Thermal Water and other carefully selected skin care ingredients, Lipikar Baume AP+ Body Cream has a unique prebiotic action on the microbiome to help reduce dry, rough skin. This product is a comforting body cream that helps alleviate extremely dry skin conditions by re-establishing and stabilizing the microbiome's balance and helping restore and preserve the skin barrier.

La Roche-Posay Lipikar AP+ can be used as a face or body cream for extremely dry skin conditions. To use, apply all over the body on clean skin morning and evening. Since it is non-comedogenic, it can be used on the face too. Gently massage body cream on skin until absorbed. Can be used on face or body all year round. Comforting cream's texture is fast-absorbing, leaving no sticky or tacky finish on the skin.

For me, this is the BEST body cream I have ever used. It really helped my dry skin and is amazing. This year's weather really took a toll on my skin. With this cream my skin feels soothed, softer, moisturized, hydrated and calmer. It is really a SOS for dry skin. It even says on the label: Anti-Irritation and Anti-Scratching. If that isn't a promise, I don't know what is?

La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+ retails for $19.99 and is available online at www.laroche-posay.us. and at certain Walgreens locations nationwide. Like La Roche-Posay on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LaRochePosayUSA; Follow La Roche-Posay on Twitter:@LaRochePosayUSA; Follow La Roche-Posay on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/larocheposayusa/ and Subscribe to La Roche-Posay on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/user/LaRochePosayUSA.
