Review: NYX Cosmetics Color Correcting Cream #NYXCosmetics #CCCream

(product photo courtesy of www.nyxcosmetics.com)
Color Correcting Cream
NYX Cosmetics Color Correcting Cream comes in three shades, Green, Lavender and Peach and each shade comes in two tones, Light to Medium and Medium to Deep. Color correction is done for the following reasons: to boost the complexion and help to neutralize the appearance of redness (green shade), to brighten (lavender shade) and to even out discolorations (peach shade). Each shade contains Vitamin E and Pro Vitamin B5, anti-oxidants and anti-aging ingredients. This sheer foundation primer helps skin look perfect. Watch each shade shift from green, lavender and peach to a sheer natural looking skin tone on your skin.

Green neutralizes redness and upon contact with skin transforms it into a naturally nude lightweight foundation. Skin looks revived. The Lavender shade helps to brighten up skin, offsetting dullness and leaving skin looking fresh. Peach pigments transform skin into a naturally nude lightweight foundation. Upon contact with skin it brightens and improves skin discolorations resulting in a fresh, revived complexion.

Below you can see the swatches of the two colors I tried out, Green and Lavender in Light/Medium:

You can see how pigmented the NYX Color Correcting Creams are above. They are thick and have a lot of pigment but when they are applied to the face, the pigment spreads out and blends into the skin. It disappears and then skin looks better, more well rested. Redness is gone. Skin looks brighter. Discolorations are even out and gone.

NYX Cosmetics Color Correcting Cream retails for $14.00 and can be purchased online at www.nyxcosmetics.com, at Ulta stores and at CVS stores.
