Review: BioRepublic Fiber Masks #fibermask #BioRepublic #sheetmasks

BioRepublic makes fibrous sheet masks that go on skin to help it when skin has had enough. To help skin when it is on the brink of disaster, when its stress is at an all time high. Sheet mask originated in Asia and the founders of BioRepublic, Paolo Mentonelli and Justin Hong, found them being used all the time when they went to Asia. So they decided to bring them here. In Asia these kinds of masks are ubiquitous in Asian cosmetic shops, pharmacies, salons, and department stores that offered immediate, noticeable results in only 10-15 minutes. And results are see in a far more convenient form than clay or cream masks. Unfortunately, Korean masks had ingredients like parabens, sulfates, triclosan, and other nasty ingredients that the BioRepublic owners simply refused to put in their skincare products. Inspired by Korean products, Justin and Paolo immediately set out to create their own line of sheet masks, formulated with American tastes and values. This is BioRepublic. Now they’re bringing their masks to you, formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, or triclosan. 100% cruelty-free.  Dermatologist tested and totally transparent.

Green Tea Detox Purifying Sheet Mask One Mask $4.99; Set of 3 $14.95
BioRepublic Green Tea Detox Purifying Sheet Mask
  • The Green Tea Detox Purifying Sheet Mask is loaded with natural green tea extract and plant collagen that provides a boost of anti-oxidants and helps to removes excess sebum on the skin. It also reduces the appearance of blemishes and imperfections to give you clean, supple and refined skin. This mask is biodegradable and snuggly fits the contours of your face. It optimally delivers vital nutrients to the skin. This mask was formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates and triclosan. It is 100% cruelty-free. Each mask contains the equivalent of 1/2 bottle of revitalizing serum. It has also been dermatologist tested for safety. This mask also contains glycerin, panthenol, camellia sinesis leaf extract, allantoin, Vitamin E, castor oil and anise fruit extract. These ingredients are quite soothing to the skin and some of them are purifying to the skin. So this mask does double duty, soothing the skin and getting rid of excess sebum.

To Use: Gently unfold the mask and apply on clean, dry skin. Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes or until dry. Remove the mask and lightly tap excess product into skin. There is no need to rinse. You want the product to penetrate the skin, as the serum is good for the skin and the mask provides ingredients that are beneficial to the skin. For best results, use 2-3 times per week.

Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask – One Mask $4.99; Set of 3 $ 14.95

BioRepublic Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask
The Pomegranate Crush Illuminating Sheet Mask is a brightening facial mask infused with natural pomegranate and green tea extract. It brightens and energizes skin tone. It evens and smoothes the complexion. And, it provides radiant, fresh and balanced skin. The biodegradable sheet mask snugly fits the contours of the face to ensure optimal delivery of vital nutrients to the skin. It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and triclosan. The mask is 100% cruelty-free. Each mask contains 1/2 bottle of skin revitalizing serum.  The mask has been dermatologist tested for safety. This mask contains glycerin, panthenol, camellia sinesis leaf extract, witch hazel water, punica granatum fruit extract, allantoin, Vitamin E, castor oil and anise fruit extract. This mask brightens skin and also smoothes out the complexion. There are also ingredients in this mask that help to soothe the skin.

To use: Gently unfold the mask and apply on clean, dry skin. Wear the mask for 15-20 minutes or until dry. Remove the mask and lightly tap excess product into the skin, do not rinse off excess product. The product should penetrate the skin, as the serum is good for the skin and the mask provides ingredients that are beneficial to the skin. For best results, use 2-3 times per week.

What I like about these masks is that they help to revitalize the skin, soothe the skin, help the skin in ways that cream and clay masks cannot. These types of masks have serum in them that stays on the skin and is not washed off. The Pomegranate and Green Tea masks help to brighten and detox the skin (respectively) where as other masks cannot accomplish this because they get washed off the skin. Used 2x-3x per week it does make a difference in the skin. These masks become a regular part of the skincare regimen. Using one of these masks is equivalent to using a serum on your skin. In fact. each mask contains 1/2 bottle of serum.

BioRepublic makes two other masks, Cucumber Breeze Soothing Sheet Mask and Aloe Rescue Revitalizing Sheet Mask. The single masks are $4.99 and the pack of three are $14.95. There is also a pack of 10 masks of each single kind for $44.95. There is a 4 mask set, one of each kind for $18.99. And you can get a pack of 8 masks, 2 of each kind for $35.99.
