The first thing you think of when you think of La Roche-Posay is skincare. However, they also make some wonderful makeup that is infused with skincare ingredients to make makeup that is multi-functional. I like things that are multi-functional, because I get more for my money.

La Roche-Posay Toleraine Teint Mattifying Mousse Foundation is a BB mousse foundation that is for oily, sensitive skins to minimize the appearance of imperfections such as pores and blemishes. It helps control shine for a long-lasting, matte look. It also blurs the look of pores so they do not look so large. Formulated with smoothing mattifier Airlicium to control shine so the complexion looks visibly smoother and more matte. Airlicium absorbs oil and shine, and also it optically smooths skin. It also contains Perlite to absorb humidity and sweat and BB pigments to visibly cover imperfections. It is available in five shades: Ivory, Light Beige, Sand, Golden Beige and Dark Beige. I tried the lightest shade, Ivory.

This foundation provides medium coverage for an even looking complexion. It is oil-free, non-comedogenic, and thus will not clog pores or cause any breakouts. It has a lightweight mousse texture and a natural velvet finish. This foundation is best for normal, combination, oily or sensitive skins.

Use Toleraine Teint Mattifying Mousse Foundation daily as a foundation for oily or sensitive skins. After thoroughly cleansing skin and applying a sunscreen, apply to face in the morning. Avoid eye area. Can be applied over moisturizer or sunscreen. This product does not have a sunscreen in it. It is fragrance-free and paraben-free.

I know this might look dark, but when smoothed out it actually looks much lighter on my face. As you can see below, the color is not bad. I like it very much.

Now, here is a photograph of me wearing the product on my face:

I found this foundation to be very light and easy to apply. I applied it with a Beautyblender sponge (as I do with all my foundations). Since it is a mousse, it spreads easily and dries quickly. The color is good for my skin tone, if just a tad dark for me, but I am extremely pale. I do like how it wears. It wears well all day and leaves the face matte, as it said it would and without shine. There is no need to use powder with this because it is a matte foundation. If you have normal, combination, oily or sensitive skin and are looking for a matte foundation with a BB cream finish, this would be a good product for you. I like that it does have more coverage than the average BB cream, it has to if it is going to cover imperfections.

La Roche-Posay Toleraine Teint Mattifying Mousse Foundation retails for $30.00 and is available from www.laroche-posay.us and at certain Walgreens locations nationwide. Like La Roche-Posay on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/LaRochePosayUSA; Follow La Roche-Posay on Twitter:@LaRochePosayUSA; Follow La Roche-Posay on Instagram:https://www.instagram.com/larocheposayusa/ and Subscribe to La Roche-Posay on YouTube:https://www.youtube.com/user/LaRochePosayUSA.
